Petersfield Children's Orchestra was set up by three friends who recognised a need for a full beginners orchestra in Petersfield (rather than the children having to travel to Chichester or Winchester). The aim is for children to have fun and make friends while learning to play as part of a local orchestra.
It is a full orchestra for children from year 2 to year 11 who live in Petersfield and the surrounding area and who play an orchestral instrument (strings, woodwind, brass or percussion. Unfortunately this doesn't include Piano or Keyboard). Weekly rehearsals are on a Sunday afternoon and a term of rehearsals will be followed by an informal concert.

All adults with roles within the orchestra are DBS checked as per our safeguarding policy.
